Steve Jenkins is an accomplished leader in the pharmaceutical industry and the Executive Chairman of Beach Pharmaceuticals, the company behind Beelith. With a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Florida and over 15 years of experience, Jenkins has played a key role in strategic planning, product development, and collaboration with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Before taking on his current role in 2017, he served as Chief Executive Officer from 2009 to 2016, guiding the company through an important period of growth and innovation. Jenkins continues the legacy of his father, Richard Beach Jenkins, who founded Beach Pharmaceuticals in the late 1950s. Known for his integrity and commitment to excellence, Steve upholds the family’s vision of improving lives through quality, science-backed products.
Committed to upholding ethical values as a business leader, he is also a strong proponent of leadership education focused on character formation. Together with his wife, Carole, he was among the earliest supporters of the Program for Leadership and Character at Wake Forest University, endowing a scholarship for the inaugural class of Leadership and Character Scholars in 2019. They also serve on the Wake Forest Parents’ Council and maintain a long-standing connection to Steve’s alma mater, Jesuit High School of Tampa.
